2. You can also burn the tree stump to remove it. This is a less expensive way to remove a tree stump. Burning a tree stump can be the best method to use if the area where the tree stump is located is not near your home or any other buildings.

3. You can also bore a few holes, being 1/2 ” in diameter, diagonally on the top of the tree stump. Then you can fill the holes with either saltpeter or a type of stump killing product. Then pour some hot water into the holes. As the water dissipates keep adding more water until all the stump-killing product has fully dissolved. Then you can burn the stump. It will smolder for some time and after it finished smoldering there will be wood ash left over. This is easy to remove. 4. Dig a small trench around the tree trump in a direction that is away from it. Make sure that you remove the excess soil outwards from the stump. After you cut enough of the roots the stump will be loosened from the ground. After the stump is loose enough you can then pull it out of the ground.
